The meridians or acupuncture channels are used to treat a wide variety of conditions and  are the most widely used method to address functional and pain problems.  There are hundreds of points from which individualized treatments are designed.

Auricular Acupuncture

The Auricular system is an ancient system that utilizes points only on the cartilage of the ear.  This form of acupuncture can be used as a stand alone treatment for headaches, generalized pain, PTSD and general wellness. It can also be used concurrently with other treatments.

Scalp Acupuncture

Scalp points are used for addressing neurological problems such as Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke recovery, Bell's palsy and RSD.

Electroacupuncture

Electroacupuncture uses low and high frequency electrical stimulation applied to the needles. The sensation can feel like a light tapping (at low frequency) and more of a buzzing or pressure sensation (high frequency).  Electroacupuncture is a mainstay of pain treatments and certain functional problems.

New Services:

Microneedling and
Infrared therapy

Announcing the addition of aesthetics to my acupuncture practice.  Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, is a natural way to improve the quality of your skin, reduce wrinkles, eliminate dark spots, as well as scars, stretch marks and many other benefits.  It involves making multiple controlled puncture marks using a special pen like device with 16 very small needles at the head.Hyaluronic acid is applied to the skin as the channels are produced which delivers the vital building block to the cells producing fresh collagen. Results are noticeable by two weeks after the procedure and by one month the full results.

The appointment begins with some numbing creme.  While you wait for the numbing creme to take effect, you will be treated to a calming

acupuncture treatment, in a spa like environment.  Following your micro needling, instructions on aftercare will be reviewed.  Between three and six treatments are recommended and results may last up to five years.
